Kaduna state Police Command has confirmed the gun and machete attacks on Assembly of God church members at Nayida Village, Chikun Local area of Kaduna, where a pastor and nine other persons were killed.
The police dubbed the attacks a reprisal attack, executed by Fulani herdsmen.
P.M. NEWS had reported that a pastor and other nine members were killed by men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen when they attacked Assembly Church of God at Chikun local government area of Kaduna State .
The new Kaduna Police Commissioner, Mohammed Abubakar told newsmen this aftertoon that the attack was ” a reprisal by relations of Fulani herdsmen who were victims of the April 2011 post election violence. “.
