YMAA Unveils Nominees

The organisers of Yoruba Movie Academy Award (YMAA) have announced the nominees for the maiden edition of the award.
Split into 13 categories, YMAA has nominated star acts like Yomi Fash Lanso, Odunlade Adekola, Muyiwa Ademola, Femi Adebayo, and Femi Branch for the award of Best Actor in a Leading Role. And listed for the Best Actress in a Leading Role are actresses like Fathia Balogun, Toyin Aimakhu, Funke Akindele, Bimbo Akintola and Mosun Filani.
A brainchild of Tunde Oshinibosi popularly known as Laface, YMAA is aimed at honouring and celebrating creativity in the Yoruba movie industry. The award is sponsored by the Ogun State government, and will hold at the Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, next month.
